School Uniform
We have a school uniform which all children are expected to wear. It makes life easy at home as no choice needs to be made in the morning about what to wear today! It does have the disadvantage that if an item of clothing is mislaid it can be difficult to find, so please ensure that every item of your child's uniform is clearly named. (We do occasionally have a non-uniform day in aid of charity or a school council led event. In this case, you will be notified in advance via School Spider.
If your child has a medical condition which prevents him or her from wearing any item of school uniform, please discuss this with the head teacher as soon as possible.
Please ensure that your child brings a coat to school in cold or wet weather.
Uniform
Winter Uniform
Navy school sweatshirt or cardigan, with a logo. (This is the one piece of uniform which identifies the children as being from Bickerton.)
Light blue polo shirt (available with a logo, or a plain light blue polo shirt if you prefer).
Black or grey school trousers, shorts or skirt.
Black or grey tights, or black, grey or white socks.
Sensible black school shoes. (No trainers.)
Summer Uniform
Navy school sweatshirt or cardigan, with a logo. (This is the one piece of uniform which identifies the children as being from Bickerton.)
Light blue polo shirt (available with a logo, or a plain light blue polo shirt if you prefer).
Black or grey school trousers, shorts or skirt with grey, black or white socks.
Optional Blue gingham dress with white socks.
Sensible school shoes (No trainers.)
PE kit
White, black or navy blue shorts.
White T / polo shirt.
Trainers or pumps.
Sports socks (white are easy to obtain but any colour is fine) are also ideal as they are comfortable to wear when doing a lot of exercise.
Track suit / leggings for cold weather. (This is really important.)
The school does not stock school uniform.
